Came with a large group. The food was adequate, the service was quick and accurate, and the price was a little on the high side for what we had. Serviceable, but I can think of a few places I'd rather go.

But really you can get a better burger at the A&W downstairs. The burger was bland and the bun noticably cold and spongy. The server said she'd bring warm buns out but only brought the top part of the bun. It was weird.

I have been coming here for nearly two n half years. And I was curious regarding their reviews here on Google. I was surprised and not surprised by the many negative reviews. People not happy about the food not happy about service. Some reviews blamed the service. Some blamed the food. The quality of service and the quality of food they serve you is not dictated by them but by management and ownership. Do people really think that a server would go out of their way to give bad service? I say not. These servers make a base wage that is less than a poverty wage and rely on any tips to make a living wage to live upon, to repay huge loans on post secondary education. Do people think the kitchen staff are at fault for making food that may be not satisfactory. I say no. I know the servers here and the kitchen staff personally and they are all full of pride. Knowing the people who work here I can honestly say they are doing the best they can and their performance on many levels is a reflection for which management and ownership dictates. Very unfortunate for the location and setting of the Hub is without doubt one of the best in New Westminster. This place could be so much better. But to become better, changes are needed behind the lines and perhaps paying customers would be happier with those at the front lines IE servers and those who work in the kitchen.

Over the course of two years I've probably been at this restaurant several times . I have to say the food is adequate the service is inadequate and the reason why the service is inadequate not because of the slow service but the not-so-friendly service. when you go to a restaurant they make some effort to talk to you but not here. I feel like I'm eating at McDonald's so why pay the extra price

This place is kind of hard to find but once you do it has great parking and a great view. I've only come during the night so I'm not sure how it is during the day. The food is always on point but this time the fish tacos were not what I expected. The wings and poutine were delicious though. Also the most important of them all is the beer. They have a good selection of beer but they forget which is which sometimes. I got my flight order messed up a couple of times. When the server told me the order of beers I got I tried them out and when I got to the IPA it tasted like a lager. I asked if this was the IPA and she said "yes", but if you know your beer (like this alcoholic = me) then you would know the aroma is completely different. She ended up apologizing and giving me my proper order. Needless to say we still do go here because it has great food and a decent list of beers. Make sure to do your research because this is one of the more expensive places to try out. But Good food and Good beer, what could go wrong?

The karaage chicken appetizer was good though and they've got a good beer menu.
